PARDUS was once again at the heart of the action at the 2024 Paris Olympics as Chinese cyclist Tang Xin took to the start line aboard the brand-new ROBIN EVO race bike.
A Demanding Course
The women's road race kicked off in iconic style from the Trocadero, with a parade passing the Eiffel Tower, the Seine River, and the Latin Quarter before the serious racing began. The 157.6km course was characterized by its undulating terrain, particularly the challenging Montmarte climb in the final stages. Cobblestones and narrow roads added to the difficulty, making this one of the toughest Olympic courses in recent memory.
A Tough Day in the Saddle
Tang Xin gave it her all but was unfortunately unable to finish the race. The high pace and selective nature of the race saw many riders dropped, and despite a valiant effort, Tang Xin was unable to stay with the leading group.
